Festival Of Lights – Saint Petersburg / NOVEMBER 2016

The city of Saint Petersburg held its first festival of lights on November 4th and 5th in collaboration with Dance Open. The Venice of the North chose to enhance three of their main monuments:  Saint Isaac’s cathedral, the Catherine the Great monument, and The Mariinsky Palace, where Cosmo AV projected its last impressive videomapping.

This epic fresco crosses the ages to meet Peter the Great, the waves of the Neva, and the majestic palaces inherited from the Tsars. In a simple impulse and multiple movements, Saint Petersburg revives its history, its dark hours and its triumphs, coming alive in a myriad of lights.

An incredible and magical autumn night, watched by more than 400 000 spectators.
