From 4th March to 7th January 2018, Cosmo AV presents its new creation: “The Cine-magician“. A videomapping paying tribute to Georges Méliès, master of illusion. Projected on the walls of the “Carrières de Lumière”, this emotional and fairy-like spectacle is the promise of a journey through the history of this 7th art genius.

Using its digital tools and the immersive scenography of the Carrières de Lumières, Cosmo AV brings visitors into his imaginary worlds: Underwater Kingdoms filled with fairies, polar expanses where fantastic ice monsters arise, travel to the moon and in the underworld…
This visionary artist leaves hundreds of films behind him, some lost, and then found thanks to the unconditional quest of admirers. He became an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the future.

The public of the Carrières de Lumière walk into the life of the artist, lost himself in the meanders of its history. The music guides him, from the studio where everything starts to the toy shop where everything ends.

A dizzy dive in the “Carrières de Lumières” at Baux-de-Provence. Managed by Culturespaces, this unique artistic experimentation venue hosts new shows each year.
