Kynren – Bishop Auckland / July 2016

It is the UK’s most spectacular open-air live action night show since the opening of the London 2012 Olympics. The Puy du Fou international team collabored with the foundation Eleven Arches for the conception, the writing and the design of the show “Kynren”, inspired by the « Cinéscénies ».

During the summer, 1.000 volunteers walked the land of Bishop Auckland to revive the greatest moments of English history, from Roman times to World War II.

An event that comes alive at night, revealing the videomapping projected onto the facade of Auckland Castle. Each part of the show illustrates a period of England history, through its characters, its art and its movements.
