NATIONAL GAMES OF GENEVA / MAY 2018

On May 29, “La Compagnie Urbaine” created a show mixing dance, slide and mapping for the National Games of Geneva.

A few months after the success of ZUP, Plainpalais hosts a new urban show for the opening of the National Games of Geneva. The bowls are replaced by the ramps, the dancers get their choreography back before an electrifying videomapping created by Cosmo AV.

From ZUP the show kept the urban arts, the epileptic rhythm and incomparable energy. The videomapping uses the main lines of the original project while adapting to a new scenography created for the occasion. Starry sky, molten magma, modern graphic lines. The creations accompany the movements of the riders, revealing the reliefs of the decor. Like a treasure hunt, videomapping responds to the rhythm of the music and guides the choreographic sequences, the space changes and the performers meet.
